The patented Posi-Melt™ screw is designed as a Multi-Purpose screw, enabling you still to process a range of resins, but with reduced screw back time, improved mixing and greater process consistency.

For applications where only one resin is processed, we can supply custom designed screws, often based on Posi-Melt™ technology. These give even greater process improvement than can be achieved with the 'standard' Posi-Melt™ screw.

Through a series of flight pitch and root changes, the Posi-Melt™ screw delivers a more thoroughly melted and mixed melt pool.

The improved melt quality of the Posi-Melt™ screw enables you to mould parts that are difficult to mould with a general purpose screw and the process window is substantially increased, as depicted in the graph. Also, one design is able to work extremely well with all resin groups.
