The design can be modified by changing the design of the rear seat (the lowest cost component) to give either a shorter or longer check ring stroke.
In addition we can offer a Carbide version where the rear of the front seat and the front of the check ring have a solid carbide deposit. This surface then has a two year wear guarantee.
Spinner Screw Tip Assembly
The spinner assembly is used for high screw speed applications with unfilled polymers (for example on Caps & Closures). The front seat and check ring are interlocked, so that there is no relative motion and therefore no wear at this point.
The retainer and rear seat are common to both the standard 4 piece valve and the spinner valve, only the front seat and check ring are changed.
All designs are available for the widest range of diameters and machine makes.
